Myspace had the opportunity to check out the behind the scenes of Jeffree Star’s video shoot for his new single “Prom Night.” The musician, whose new EP Virginity will be out this spring via Konlive, created his very own (and very pink) prom night in Hollywood for the clip.

As with most music video shoots, Star’s voyage to create the “Prom Night” video involved a long, arduous day. The shoot took place in several locations around Los Angeles, but we joined the musician at the Women’s Club of Hollywood where a crew had transformed the event space into a prom. And, honestly, it looks prettier than our prom ever did.

Star arrived a little while after we did from the previous location and we got an intimate look at all the moving pieces involved in making a video. By the time we left, around 5:30 p.m., the crew and actors were only just gearing up to kick off the prom scene. And, apparently, they planned to be there until at least 2 a.m. Which sounds equal parts fun and exhausting.

As you can see, pink is the theme color at this prom so all the extras were clad in pink dresses and Star was prepping to put on a shiny pink suit for the scene. Unfortunately we didn’t get to see his ensemble, but the outfit from the previous shot is pretty darn impressive.

Virginity Release Date, TV Appearence & Press!

Jeffree announced earlier tonight that the release date for “Virginity” will be pushed back a few weeks… No further information or release date is available as of now, we will let you know as soon as we can!

BUT…! On a positive note, Jeffree also revealed that he is going to be featured on a new reality show that’s on the Oxygen Channel! Do you have any guesses on what show it could be? Let us know in comments or in the chat box! :)

The “Prom Night!” music video shoot is tomorrow as well, so we’re also getting behind the scenes on that, too! Stay tuned to the site, you never what we might get from Jeffree!

So much to look forward too!! Virginity is coming, just be patient, it’s not time yet.. ;)
